Orla - Oxalis triangularis
Orla has recently come back into fashion, probably down to her colourful foliage, but she has been around for decades, being passed down through family generations - earning her the title of Heirloom Plant.
Occasionally Orla will go dormant, making you think she has come to the end of her days, but worry not! Let her soil dry out and pop her to one side and when you notice a new shoot emerge, then start watering again. Dramatic behaviour I know, but well worth it for the colourful show you get from her the rest of the time!
Unfortunately, she is toxic if eaten so keep out of reach of pets and small children.
