Our classes are suitable for all abilities and are held in our workshop at Riverside Trading Estate in Douglas.
As well as our public workshops we are able to create bespoke classes for private events such as birthday and hen parties. Contact us here for more details.
Heidi studied at Writtle College for a Foundation Degree in Professional Floristry and BSc (Hons) in Horticulture and during this time she trained in two top London flower shops as well as working for a year as a student organic gardener for the National Trust for Scotland.
Whilst in London she exhibited with the Writtle College team at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and helped bring home Gold, Silver Gilt, Silver and Bronze medals, as well as being honoured to make a posy and present it to HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
Since opening The Flower Studio in 2009, Heidi has designed hundreds of beautiful and unique wedding florals, some of which have appeared in national and international publications such as Fusion Flowers, Perfect Wedding, You & Your Wedding and Wedding Ideas
Heidi strives for perfection in every aspect of her work from the initial design and consultation through to the finished piece. She loves working with other creative professionals for projects and photoshoots where she can let her creativity run wild.
If you are looking for something a bit different for your Hen party, birthday or night out, why not let us create a bespoke workshop for you to enjoy?
They can be held at our workshop in Douglas or we can bring the party to you.
We will provide all the tools and materials, and refreshments and decorations can also be arranged. Feel free to bring your own Prosecco to chill in the fridge to make the class even more fun!
It always makes us proud to see our pretty florals in print!
From gala dinners and award ceremonies, to product launches and staff parties, we have provided beautiful florals for businesses and events across the Isle of Man.
Please feel free to get in touch today to find out what services we can offer you.

Our workshop is the creative space where magic happens! We’re not a regular flower shop working 9-5 (yeah you’ve got Dolly Parton in your head now haven’t you?) so please give us a heads up if you would like to come and visit, chat about your wedding flowers or pop in for a coffee.
UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man is partnering with local businesses and organisations to help keep the Isle of Man a special place to work, live and visit. The Flower Studio has taken the following pledge along with a whole heap of amazing local businesses:
* to help protect our natural resources
* to develop our economy in a sustainable way
* to support and promote our local heritage
* to make our environmental impact positive where possible
* to engage with the local community
* to promote our outstanding living landscape and seascape through active involvement with UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man
As part of our commitment we pledge to do the following:
We have reduced the amount of plastic packaging by over two thirds or on some designs have got rid of it completely.
We recycle our paper, cardboard, plastic and green waste.
We only use biodegradable floral foam.
We source as many stems of flowers and foliage from Manx growers, but when this isn’t possible we make sure we purchase stems from overseas growers that operate under labels such as Fair Flowers, Fair Plants and MPS.
