Heidi studied at Writtle College, Chelmsford for a Foundation Degree in Professional Floristry and BSc (Hons) Degree in Horticulture, and trained in top London florist shops, Earthworks International Designers and Chris Price Flowers, before deciding to return to the Isle of Man to set up her own business. Inspired by nature and driven by providing an excellent customer service, she wanted to create a shop that echoes these values.

Her portfolio already boasts a wide range of achievements, including being part of Writtle Colleges’ medal winning teams at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2005, 2006 and 2008. She was honoured to be invited to design a bouquet and present it to HRH Queen Elizabeth II at the 2006 show. Heidi has also had one of her wedding designs appear on the front page of the Society of Floristry magazine, Focal Point, and in the Fusion Flowers Wedding Magazine.
Yasmin
Yasmin has had three years experience working in the floristry industry and is currently studying for her A-levels which include Art and Design and 3D design. Her interest in flowers is recognisable in her art work, some of which is sold in The Flower Studio.
Yasmin is hoping to go to university after her A-levels to study for a Degree in Professional Floristry to build on the skills she already has.
Joanna
Joanna works part time at the Flower Studio and is currently studying for a Higher National Diploma in Fine Art at the Isle of Man College. She has had two years experience in the floristry industry after finishing her Foundation Studies in Art and Design. Greatly influenced by architecture and the environment, Joanna’s key interest lies within surface patterns and colour together with interior and landscape designs. She is hoping to progress within this field by studying for a degree as a top-up after finishing the HND course this year.
