We wouldn't be anything without the team of people that work at The Flower Studio - here are some of them!

Heidi

Trained at Writtle College and in two top London Florists Heidi is inspired by nature and driven by providing excellent customer service. 

Her portfolio already boasts a wide range of achievements, including being part of Writtle Colleges’ medal winning teams at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2005, 2006 and 2008. She was honoured to be invited to design a bouquet and present it to HRH Queen Elizabeth II at the 2006 show. Heidi has also had one of her wedding designs appear on the front page of the Society of Floristry magazine, Focal Point, and in the Fusion Flowers Wedding Magazine.

She loves purple flowers but couldn’t possibly pick a favourite... although she does have a soft spot for big blowsy Hydrangeas!  Flowers, nature & gardening are her passion and in her spare time she can usually be found on the allotment.  Her pet hates are people who drop litter and she is famous for never drinking a full cup of coffee!

Beth

Beth works on Saturdays at the Flower Studio and first came to us on work experience. Her favourite flowers include peonies and white hydrangeas. Some of her favourite things about working here include seeing all the beautiful bouquets sent out to women by their other halves, and casually flicking through wedding magazines gathering ideas for her prom and maybe a wedding in the distant future! She enjoys learning about all different aspects of floristry and the satisfaction of providing a good quality service.

Michelle

Michelle was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois-USA and she has been a floral designer for 11 years in the States. She has just recently married which brings her here to the Isle of Man. She is a unique designer, loves to be creative and competed in 2010 and 2011 in the Fresno California Home and Garden Show - Floral Competition. She has a passion for traveling around the world, experiencing the many different cultures and studying their unique ways in floral design. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Fine Arts, she is a floral designer by day, but a true artist at heart. Her unique perspective on floral design is strongly influenced by fine arts and the ability to experiment and show her audience something innovative. “I do what I love, so it never seems like work to me.”
